As soon as possible. There are significant wait lists in operation for some year levels. Other year levels however have no or a short waiting list. As Prep and Year Seven are a major entry point for the College, applications are advised to be submitted at least four years in advance in order to avoid disappointment.
The School has an admissions policy in terms of preferencing applications but offers may ultimately be made on a first come first served basis. Enrolment interviews commence approximately 18 months ahead for entry into Year Seven and 12 months for Prep.
The College does not reveal the position of applicants on the waitlist. This is due to a number of factors including sibling enrolments. The waitlists are very fluid and can change significantly at any given time.
When it is close to the academic year commencing, and your child does not have a confirmed place, the registrar will provide an update on the likelihood of your child receiving a place.
You won't lose your child's pace on the waitlist; it will simply transfer over.
