Bring Your Own Device Program

Students from Year Six to Year Twelve are required to bring a suitable device to school each day to support their learning. Students are permitted to use a Windows or a MacOS device; however, these devices must meet a set of minimum requirementsoutlined in the BYOD handbook.

Onboarding of BYOD device for 2026

ICT provides online onboarding guides that can be followed to get your child's BYOD device ready for school. If you would like ICT to assist your child with this process, appointments will be available in January 2026 before school starts. Please use the link below:

Buying Guide

The BYOD Handbook give a basic break down of minimum specifications. The BYOD Buying Guide 2026 lists useful information when buying devices from local retailers.

Parents also have the option of using the CompNow BYOD Parent Purchasing Portal to purchase a device that meet the requirements of the BYOD program.
