Governance

Cathedral College Wangaratta (CCW) is a school of the Anglican Schools Commission (ASC). The ASC provides policy direction and support in the areas of finance and budgeting, industrial relations, risk and compliance and capital development. It also provides the curriculum framework and undertakes the role of the governing body.

The School Council is the local representative body that is constituted to conduct and manage the operations of the College under delegated authority from the ASC.

The School Council members are appointed by the Bishop of Wangaratta, the ASC, the Bishop-in-Council and the College itself. The School Council, in conjunction with the ASC, appoints the Principal and sets the strategic direction of the College. The School Council also has responsibility for appointing the Business Manager and Executive.
